Carbon County is seeking a full-time Election Administrator In-Training in the Clerk & Recorder's Office.

START DATE:  January 23, 2016 (or as soon after)

JOB DESCRIPTION: In training to qualify for administration of county elections which involves the following:  Register and process voters, coordinate all qualifying elections in the county, attend state election training, train county election judges, monitor election supplies and equipment, coordinate repair and/or replacement of voting equipment, budget funds for the department, and manage election records.  This position will also work with the Clerk and Recorder’s department in all phases including but not limited to payroll, accounts payable, asset inventory and recordkeeping.

QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of county and state election policies and procedures (or the ability to learn same), modern office practices and procedures and communication etiquette, experience with payroll and/or accounts payables; must be able to work well with the public, meet deadlines and have good organizational skills, be familiar with budgets, work independently and as a team leader, problem solve and must be proficient with computer program skills.
