Cascade County is currently seeking a Clinic Manager.  This position is responsible for the successful day-to-day management and operation of the Health Center Primary Care Clinic and is responsible for supporting mission and goal achievement, organizational quality and patient centered care by providing leadership and clinical direction for clinical staff of Community Health Care Center. The Clinic Manager will develop, organize, evaluate and direct the nurses and medical assistants, under the direction of the Medical Director. In partnership with the Medical Director, the Clinic Manager will ensure the smooth operation of clinic-based services and the achievement of productivity goals. In partnership with the Chief Operations Officer, this position will ensure education, training, implementation and maintenance of Patient Centered Medical Home Certification, QA/QI Program, Emergency Preparedness Program and Risk Management/Compliance Programs. Cascade County is seeking a Registered Dietitian.  This position is responsible for nutrition assessment and counseling, breastfeeding and nutrition education to high-risk individual participants and groups. To promote and support breastfeeding, provide program outreach and make referrals to community services. This function includes: Conducting a complete nutrition assessment  and determining nutritional eligibility of WIC clients; developing participant’s nutrition care plan; providing and documenting participants centered nutrition education to high risk and other clients responsive to the needs/interests of the participants; providing and documenting appropriate follow up referrals to other health and social services agencies, especially those with additional nutrition or health concerns; tracking participant’s progress, including goals set, to improve health and document outcomes; performs and records weights, heights, and hemoglobin test results; orders formula in a timely manner for high risk infants; works in close collaboration with medical providers and State Registered Dietitian; provides community outreach and promotions through media; documents client information in M-Spirit computer data base; monitors client files as needed to assure accurate documentation; performs general office duties as needed; performs other related duties as assigned. Cascade County is currently seeking an Adult Detention Officer.  This position guards inmates in penal or rehabilitative institution in accordance with established policies, procedures and as directed for public safety; may guard inmates in transit between the detention center, courtroom, prison, or other points; under the direct supervision of the shift supervisor or general supervision of the facility command staff; responsible for maintaining a secure detention facility and the safe custody of all inmates; performs a variety of technical and administrative tasks associated with facility operations and the incarceration of inmates; work includes the observation and accompaniment of inmates inside and outside the detention center and related care record keeping requirements; officers may be assigned to work any shift; patience and firmness are required in frequent contacts with inmates who are violent (murderer’s, rapist, child molesters, fighters, etc.), suicidal, and mentally unstable; officers are also subjected to hazards associated with custody work including exposure to various hazards such as noise, a variety of physical conditions, close quarters and exposure to human body fluids; previous experience in a detention setting is desirable.
