State of Montana 911 Grant Program

House Bill 61 was passed by the 2017 Montana Legislature, primary sponsor Representative Frank Garner, and was signed by Governor Steve Bullock on May 10, 2017. House Bill 61 provides for at least $6.8 million in funding for the award of 9-1-1 grants by the Department of Administration in state fiscal year 2019.  The Department, in consultation with the 9-1-1 Advisory Council, must award competitive grants annually.

Aquatic Invasive Species Grants

The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) offers state-funded grants for the prevention and control of aquatic invasive species (AIS). The goal of the grants is to protect the natural resources of Montana from severe and unacceptable damage from aquatic invasive species.

Montana Accessible Playgrounds Grant Program

Montana State Parks is now accepting applications for the Montana Accessible Playgrounds Grant Program. Grant funds must be matched at a rate of 1 to 1 minimum, with $1 in state funds to $1 or more in other grant funds. A grant award will not exceed $10,000.

County & Tribal Matching Grant Applications for SFY 2018 & 2019

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS), Addictive and Mental Disorders Division (AMDD) is accepting applications for State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2018 and 2019 for the County and Tribal Matching Grant program.  County government representatives, including county commission, county attorney, and county sheriff, and tribal government representatives of federally recognized tribes are eligible to apply for a grant to provide services under this program.  All county and tribal applicants desiring consideration for SFY2018 and SFY2019 funding must submit an application, regardless of previous award.  Click the link below for more information.

FY2017 County Matching Grant Application for Crisis Intervention & Jail Diversion

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is pleased to announce funds in the County Matching Grant Program for Crisis Intervention and Jail Diversion for Fiscal Year 2017.
