The first meeting of the 2017-2018 Energy and Telecommunications Interim Committee (ETIC) is July 31 at 9 a.m. in room 172 of the Capitol Building in Helena.

The ETIC, at its first meeting of the interim, is required to review the state energy policy and determine if future meetings should be dedicated to revising the policy and recommending changes to the 2019 Legislature.

During the July 31 meeting in Helena, the ETIC will accept public comment about the energy policy. Montana's energy policy includes a wide range of goals.  Energy policy work also may be incorporated into the committee's overall work plan.
