The State Administration and Veteran's Affairs Interim Committee will be meeting at 9 a.m. on September 14 in Room 102 of the Capitol Building in Helena. 

Agenda items will cover the following:

  • Veterans transportation and suicide prevention.
  • Special district election laws.
  • How election administrators process returned absentee and mail-in ballots.
  • The statewide voter registration system.
  • Aging voting systems, particularly the AutoMark system for disabled voters.
  • The Secretary of State's reply to Sen. Sue Malek's request for information about rejected ballots during in the May 2017 special election.

The committee will also finalize a study and work plan for the next 12 months.
