House Bill 218,  which would have created a new program to be administered by the Department of Commerce to provide grants to local governments for oil and gas impact projects, failed in its veto-override attempt.

The final votes are as follows:

  • House Members “For”:  61
  • House Members “Against”:  32
  • Senate Members “For38
  • Senate Members “Against”:  7
