The Legislative Audit Committee is meeting June 13 at the Capitol in Helena to review recent audits of state programs and services. Twelve legislators serve on this administrative committee. Current members are Rep. Randy Brodehl, R-Kalispell; Rep. Virginia Court, D-Billings; Rep. Mike Cuffe, R-Eureka; Sen. Dee Brown, R-Hungry Horse; Sen. Taylor Brown, R-Huntley; Sen. Greg Jergeson, D-Chinook; Sen. Cliff Larsen, D-Missoula; Rep. Mary McNally, D-Billings; Sen. Eric Moore, R-Miles City; Rep. Ryan Osmundson, R-Buffalo; Rep. JP Pomnichowski, D-Bozeman; and Sen. Mitch Tropila, D-Great Falls (chairman).

The Legislative Audit Division provides independent and objective evaluations of the stewardship, performance and cost of government policies, programs and operations. The division is responsible for conducting financial, performance, and information system audits of state agencies or their programs, including the university system.
