AG Office Letter  |  Constitutional Initiative & Sponsor Comments

The Attorney General’s Office has received a proposed Constitutional Initiative to secure the rights of adults regarding marijuana.  The Attorney General’s Office is requesting comments on the ballot statements that will appear on the petition and the official ballot for this initiative.  Please respond with any comments you may have by Friday, December 9, 2011.  You may email your comments to ahuff@mt.gov.  Please also copy kstelling@mt.gov.

Linked above, you will find a letter from the Attorney General’s Office containing the ballot statements as proposed by the Attorney General's Office, as well as a copy of the constitutional initiative with ballot statements as proposed by the sponsor. 

Comments should be directed at the Attorney General’s proposed language, as contained in the letter.  Please feel free to forward a copy of this email and attachments to any other person who may be interested in the initiative.
