Water Policy Interim Committee Exempt Well Proposals

Posted Date:

Tara DePuy, MACo JPIA Land Use Attorney

The use of exempt wells in subdivisions is important to every county in the state, not just counties with subdivision activity. The Water Policy Interim Committee will hold its next meeting on March 6, 2012, in room 172 of the State Capitol, to discuss a number of items including the issue of exempt wells required by House Bill No. 602.

Please click here for the March 6, 2012 WPIC agenda and the bill proposals regarding the use of exempt wells in subdivisions.  Testimony--proponents, opponents, and informational--will be taken on the bill proposals at 1:15 p.m. on March 6.

Attention MACo Members:  If you have comments on the bill proposals, please let Tara Depuy know so she can incorporate the comments into her testimony on March 6.
