The Montana Association of Counties is seeking a Wellness Coordinator for its Health Care Trust public entity risk sharing pool.  This position is responsible for the development and participation in wellness programs and activities designed to improve employee health and well-being.  Employees in this position work with member counties to organize and promote all health and wellness activities, outings, and programs, and encourage employees to participate in health assessment screenings and goal-driven programs. This position has extensive contacts with MACo HCT members and their employees, vendors, Trustees, and MACo staff.

Successful candidates are required to:

  • have graduated from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s degree in a related field; and
  • possess two to five years of experience in marketing, with emphasis on health benefits preferred.

Any equivalent education, experience, and/or training which will provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the required essential functions of the position will be considered.

Wage is $21.13 per hour, with consideration of an increase following successful completion of a 6 month probationary period.  MACo offers a generous benefit package including health insurance (including dental and vision), 401k retirement contribution, vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.
