The Montana Association of Counties is seeking a Loss Control Specialist for its Property and Casualty and Workers Compensation public entity risk sharing pools.  This position reviews and evaluates property and liability and workers compensation exposures and administers training and loss control programs to mitigate and reduce those exposures for member counties and eligible insureds.

Successful applicants are required to have graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and with three to five years of related experience preferred.

Any equivalent education, experience, and/or training which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the required essential functions of the position will be considered.

MACo will offer a competitive salary coupled with a generous benefit package including employer paid health insurance (including dental and vision), life insurance, 401(k) retirement contribution (up to 10% of salary), vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay to the successful candidate.

The position is located in Helena, Montana, and requires extensive travel throughout the state.
