Distributing the NACo Prescription Discount Card


Counties can make program information and cards directly available to key populations by distributing at suggested organizations and/or locations--just be sure to get card-placement approval beforehand:

Big Brothers/Big Sisters County agency buildings (tax collector, assessor, permits, etc.) Grocery stores Religious/ethnic centers
Boys & Girls Clubs County facilities Health associations Senior centers
Charity organizations Courthouses Jails and detention centers Social service agencies
Clinics/hospitals Daycare centers Major athletic events Social service centers
Colleges Department of Motor Vehicles Pharmacies YMCA
Convenience stores Employee fairs Physician offices  

If you are in need of additional ID cards, please let Shantil Siaperas know (macoleg@mtcounties.org or 406-449-4360), and she will contact NACo/CVS Caremark. 

Posters that raise community awareness of the program as well as display stands that hold the ID cards/brochure at distribution locations are also available.

Remember, all promotional materials and ID Cards are free of charge; we just need to know a few details:

  • How many (rough number)
  • Name of place to ship materials
  • Address
  • Contact person's name (Attn: To...)
  • Phone number of contact person

IMPORTANT:  A county must be enrolled in the program before its residents can utilize the discount cards.  If you are interested in participating, please click here to enroll.
