The Montana Association of Counties (MACo) is seeking a Member Services Coordinator for its Health Care Trust (HCT). The primary focus of this position is to provide member service functions and marketing support related to the employee benefit plans and programs on behalf of the MACo HCT.  Employees in this position must possess considerable knowledge and experience in marketing, health insurance and employee health benefit programs. This position has extensive contacts with MACo members, MACo staff, Elected Officials, governing boards, and participating member groups.

Successful applicants should have a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and two (2) years of experience in employee health benefits.  Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered

The starting annual salary is $46,939, with consideration of an increase following successful completion of a 6-month probationary period. MACo offers a generous benefit package including health insurance (including dental and vision), 401k retirement contribution, vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.

Travel is required a minimum of fifty (50%) percent of the time to attend meetings, training, and conferences.  Occasionally, extensive travel (over 1,000 miles per month) may be required.
