The Montana Department of Administration, State Information Technology Services Division, Public Safety Communications Bureau, has released this year’s list of grant awards (award letters will be coming soon). Click the link below to view the list.

The new annual 9-1-1 Grant Program (beginning in state fiscal year 2019) is a state-funded program created by the 2017 Legislature with the purpose of to supporting the implementation, operation, and maintenance of 9-1-1 systems, equipment, devices, and data.

The bill that initiated the 911 Grant Program was House Bill 61 (2017), which was sponsored by Representative Frank Garner. HB 61 provided for at least $6.8 million in funding for the award of 9-1-1 grants by the Department of Administration in state fiscal year 2019. The Department, in consultation with the 9-1-1 Advisory Council, must award the competitive grants annually.  The next cycle will begin in the fall.
