The MSU Local Government Center is pleased to announce the updated and expanded version of the Montana Local Government Board Handbook: A Guide to Serving on Boards, Districts, Commissions and Committees.

The 75 page document provides detailed information for local government board members on legal issues (including updates from the 2011 legislative session), effective meeting techniques, leadership and team building skills, and specific statutory detail on over 75 city, county and multijurisdictional boards, committees, councils and districts in Montana.   Attached are the first 20 pages of the document to give you an idea of the content.  The cost is $10 plus S/H (includes the electronic .PDF version with embedded web links) and special bulk discounts are available.
