Volume 25, Issue 12
Week eleven of the 66th Legislative Session has almost come to a close, with the Legislature holding just a few more Saturday hearings tomorrow (March 23rd) at 12:30 p.m. Tomorrow is also the transmittal deadline for the revenue-estimating joint resolution and the last day to request study resolutions. Monday is the last day to introduce appropriation bills, revenue bills & bills proposing referenda; it’s going to be a busy week, with the transmittal for these bills just a week from Monday (April 1st). Also this week, Senate Finance & Claims will begin its work on HB 2 (the budget bill) all day Tuesday through Thursday.
To help keep you apprised of what’s happening on the hill, we will continue to release a new issue of the MACo Legislative Update weekly until Sine Die.
This week’s issue features the session calendar, as well as the bill hearings scheduled thus far for March 23rd – 29th, and the schedule is highlighted with MACo’s priorities.
