Montana Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Proclamation to Rescind Special Fire Restrictions - Stage I

This Proclamation is issued in compliance with State of Montana Fire Regulation Number 9 (Sub-Chapter 1, 36.10.119 Administrative Rules of Montana) promulgated under authority of Section 76-13-104 Montana Code Annotated which restricts certain activities on forest lands (as defined under Section 76-13-102(8) Montana Code Annotated).

Under the authority granted in 76-13-203, MCA and ARM 36.10.119 through 132, the Stage 1 Restrictions are hereby rescinded.

This proclamation affects all State lands and private forested lands lying within the boundaries of State lands and private forested lands lying within the boundaries of Granite County excluding that part lying in the Beaverhead – Deer Lodge National Forest; Mineral County; Missoula County excluding that part north of Summit Lake; Powell County excluding that portion lying in the Flathead NF and Helena NF; Ravalli County; those parts of Lake County and Flathead County lying within the Flathead Indian Reservation; and that portion of Sanders County lying outside the Kootenai National Forest.. The rescinding of the Stage 1 Restrictions is effective as of 0001 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time, Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
