Montana Department of Natural Resources & Conservation Proclamation to Rescind Special Fire Restrictions - Stage I

This Proclamation is issued in compliance with State of Montana Fire Regulation Number 9 (Sub-Chapter 1, 36.10.119 Administrative Rules of Montana) promulgated under authority of Section 76-13-104 Montana Code Annotated which restricts certain activities on forest lands (as defined under Section 76-13-102(8) Montana Code Annotated).

Under the authority granted in 76-13-203, MCA and ARM 36.10.119 through 132, the Stage 1 Restrictions are hereby rescinded.

This proclamation affects all State lands and private forested lands lying within the boundaries of Fergus, Golden Valley, Judith Basin, Petroleum, Phillips, Roosevelt and Valley counties. The rescinding of the Stage 1 Restrictions is effective as of 0001 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time, Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
