U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao Announces $1.5 Billion in BUILD Transportation Grants to Revitalize Infrastructure Nationwide

WASHINGTON – U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine L. Chao today announced $1.5 billion in discretionary grant funding to 91 projects in 49 states and the District of Columbia. The grants are made through the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Transportation Grants program and support road, rail, transit, and port infrastructure projects across the country.

FFY 2018 Federal Forest Reserve Payments Released

In accordance with the Secure Rural Schools (SRS) Act, P.L. 115-141 reauthorized March 23, 2018, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service processed payments to states the week of April 12th.  Montana’s total payment is $14,176,880.59; however, with the 6.2% sequestration reduction, the total payment amounts to $13,297,913.99.

He was the second son born to Harold and Cora (Loyning) Egan on March 19, 1935, in Dr. Adams’ Hospital in Red Lodge. Charles and Carolyn Heath were married June 10, 1961, with children Debbie, Michelle and Shawn born to this union. In 1967, Chuck and Carolyn relocated to Columbus where they raised their family and have resided since.
