The Basic Rundown
The Montana Association of Counties, in cooperation with the Local Government Center at MSU, will present our Elected Officials training December 5th through 7th in Helena. With an excellent slate of presenters covering public sector governance, ethics, personnel management, as well as strategies for dealing with the public, we encourage ALL county elected officials to attend.

Where Do I Stay?
The room block at the conference hotel is full.
An overflow block of rooms has been established at the Comfort Suites, (406) 495-0505, at the rate of $107 plus tax. When making your reservations be sure to refer to the MACo room rate.
The target audience is ALL county elected officials, both newly-elected and seasoned incumbents. While our trainings are intended to be educational and entertaining, the true value comes from interacting with your colleagues -new and old- from different locations and positions in county government.

You may also register at the door Monday, December 5th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Monday offers two hours of training followed by a no-host networking social and dinner (included in your registration fee). Tuesday is a full day of training that concludes at 5:00 p.m. followed by a networking social. Wednesday is a partial day of training located at the MACo offices – giving you the opportunity to see where MACo is located and meet the staff.
