The Montana Association of Counties (MACo) is seeking an Account Executive for its Health Care Trust (HCT). The primary focus of this position is to provide marketing and member service functions related to the employee benefit plans and programs on behalf of the MACo HCT including new sales and retention.  Employees in this position must possess considerable knowledge and experience in marketing as well as health insurance and health benefit programs. This position has extensive contacts with MACo members, MACo staff, governing boards, county commissioners, and participating member groups.

Travel is required a minimum of sixty to eighty (60-80%) percent of the time to attend meetings, training, and conferences.  Occasionally, extensive travel (over 1,000 miles per month) may be required.

Successful applicants should have a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors’ degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of experience with marketing, with an emphasis on health benefits. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.

The starting annual salary range is $56,773 to $74,557 (Senior Account Executive) depending on experience. MACo offers a generous benefit package including health insurance (including dental and vision), 401k retirement contribution, vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.
