ATV Riders Course Provided by an
ASI-Licensed Instructor

UTV Drivers Course Provided by a
ROHVA-Qualified Instructor

The following training courses are available from MACo:

ASI Riders Course: This 4-hour hands-on training provides basic instruction on ATV operations and safety protocol. Participants who successfully complete this course receive an ASI Student Performance Evaluation Form to document completion of the basic ATV rider training class. Organizations receiving the training are responsible for providing each rider with an ATV and protective gear, including a DOT-Approved helmet.

ROHVA Drivers Course: This 4-hour hands-on training provides basic instruction on UTV operations and safety protocol. Participants who successfully complete this course receive a ROHVA Driver Performance Card to document completion of the basic UTV driver training class. Organizations receiving the training are responsible for providing each driver with a UTV and protective gear, including a DOT-Approved helmet.

ATV/UTV Trailering and Load Securement: This 2-hour hands-on training provides instruction on proper methods of loading and unloading ATVs/UTVs and proper methods of securing the vehicles for transport. Documentation of training to be provided on a group training roster by MACo. Organizations receiving the training are responsible for providing a truck and trailer along with ATVs/UTVs.

Organizations requesting the training must provide a suitable course setting (minimum dimensions of 220-feet x 220-feet on relatively flat land). Please schedule all training well in advance of your requested training date(s) to allow for course evaluation and ensure trainer availability.
