Pondera County is currently seeking letters of interest for the position of Pondera County Attorney, to fulfill the remainder of the current term, expiring December 31, 2022. Pursuant to Montana Code Annotated 7-4-2701, the Appointee must be a citizen of the United States, have resided in Montana for two years immediately before taking office, and admitted to the practice of law for a minimum of three years.
Primarily, duties consist of being legal adviser for Pondera County and County subdivisions, as well as the Public Prosecutor in both District and Justice Courts. This position is available in August of 2020.
