The seventh annual Rickey Mart Memorial Agent Appreciation Award was awarded to Pat Greany of Leavitt Great West Insurance at the recent MACo Midwinter Conference held in Great Falls. Unfortunately, Greany was unable to attend the conference, so his associate Travis Clark accepted the award on his behalf.
Greany retired at the end of 2019, but during his career he represented many counties including Teton, Pondera, Glacier, Granite and Toole Counties as well as several special districts. He began his career in insurance in December 1976 and has always been a strong proponent of continuing education, completing several insurance industry professional designations including CIC, LUTCF, CPIA and AFIS. He was one of the first agents to represent a member county to partner with MACo around 1987.
Greany and his team have been instrumental in creating positive safety programs with their represented counties, as well as raising awareness of property and liability exposures. Pat has been an immense proponent of MACo WCT & PCT and has been a trusted partner of both organizations and member counties for many years.
The recognition award presented to Greany is in memory of Rickey Mart, one of our original agent partners who passed away in 2012. The award recognizes those agents who, like Rickey, exemplified the dedication and professionalism in our relationship with our independent insurance agent partners.
On behalf of the MACo WCT & PCT Trustees and staff, congratulations to Pat Greany as well as his co-workers. In Greany’s words: “I thank my strong support staff of Lyndie Kraft in Cut Bank, Shannon Naylor in Conrad, Kim Grove in Choteau, and Rita Chadwick in Great Falls as well as my partner in the Shelby office Travis Clark. They are the backbone of our service and success.”
