On April 23rd, MACo and the Local Government Center hosted a virtual “townhall” to provide Montana’s County Commissioners with a venue and opportunity to share and learn from the situations and best practices in counties around the state during this unprecedented time.

The first of what will be a series of townhalls focused on “communication,” discussing things like how to comply with public meeting laws during the COVID-19 pandemic and how counties are communicating with the public, each other, and their EOCs.

If you missed this session and would like to see what happened or listen to the discussion, click the link below and watch the video!  Also included below are links to the PowerPoint presentation that was utilized during the meeting as well as the chatbox comments.

We received great feedback from our maiden voyage into virtually-hosted events, so stay tuned for the next County Commissioner Townhall!
