On May 8th, MACo and the Local Government Center hosted a virtual “townhall” to provide Montana’s County Commissioners with a venue and opportunity to share and learn from the situations and best practices in counties around the state as well as receive pertinent updates during this unprecedented time.

This townhall focused on Governor’s Coronavirus Relief Fund Task Force, with a report from MACo Executive Director, Eric Bryson, on the progress of the Task Force, which was assembled to provide guidance and advice on how to best use $1.25 billion appropriated to Montana through the Federal CARES Act.

The second session in our series of townhalls focused on the Governor’s Coronavirus Relief Fund Task Force.  MACo Executive Director, Eric Bryson, reported on the progress and guidance that came out of the Governor’s Task Force, which was assembled to provide direction and advice on how to best use $1.25 billion appropriated to Montana through the Federal CARES Act.

We received great feedback from these virtually-hosted events, so stay tuned for the next County Commissioner Townhall!
