On March 12th, MACo and the MSU Local Government Center hosted a virtual “townhall” to provide Montana’s counties with a venue and opportunity to share and learn from the situations and best practices in their communities around the state as well as receive pertinent updates during this unprecedented time.

During our fifth Virtual Townhall of 2021, MACo provided updates from the previous two weeks of the 67th Legislative Session. Staff also spent a considerable amount of time talking about the third COVID relief package (the American Rescue Plan Act), recently passed by Congress, and what that means for counties as of now.

If you missed this Townhall and would like to see what happened or listen to the dialogue, a recording of the meeting is posted below for your viewing pleasure.

We are receiving great feedback from these virtually-hosted events and plan to continue bi-weekly until we’re told to stop!
