On November 18th, MACo hosted a virtual “townhall” to provide Montana’s counties with information regarding the national opioid settlements and next steps. Counties are required to meet regionally, make appointments, organize fiscal agents, and provide a “governance structure for the administration, management, and use of Opioid Remediation funds.” Representatives from the Montana Department of Justice joined us to help clarify goals and expectations.
If you missed this Townhall and would like to see what happened or listen to the dialogue, a recording of the meeting is posted below for your viewing pleasure.
We are receiving great feedback from these virtually-hosted events and plan to continue until we’re told to stop!
