MACo General Counsel, McKenzie McCarthy, will be presenting HR training in June and July around Montana. This free training is open to all county employees and will cover discipline, discrimination, and employee leave, plus any other topics on which attendees have questions.
MACo member entities have experienced significant losses in recent years due to employee dishonesty/fraud. To combat this growing risk, MACo will once again be offering training to all members of MACo’s Property & Casualty Trust (PCT) on fraud detection and prevention techniques. This training will build upon last year’s basic Fraud Prevention training course which was very well attended and highly rated.
Michele Puiggari will be presenting personnel training. Please see the agenda in the link above for detailed information. This training is for all county elected officials and department heads/supervisors.
