The 2026 MACo Midwinter Conference will be held at the Billings Hotel & Convention Center, February 15-18. The conference is for all elected officials who wish to attend.
Rooms have been blocked at the venue at the rate of $110 (plus tax) per night. To make your reservations, contact the hotel at (406) 248-7151 and be sure to refer to the MACo room block. The cut-off date for the reduced rate is January 25th.
Cancellation Policy
Registration will be refunded minus administrative costs only if cancellation is requested in writing by e-mailing either Meagan Gallagher at mgallagher@mtcounties.org or Sara McGowan at smcgowan@mtcounties.org no later than February 6th, 2026. No refunds will be issued after February 6th, 2026.

Montana County Coalitions Are Also Convening!
Montana County Coalitions are independent organizations, distinct from MACo. Unlike MACo Committees, which are established and managed by the Association, Coalitions operate under their own governance. Most have articles of incorporation on file with the Secretary of State’s Office, as well as bylaws that guide their work.
With many coalition members already gathered during MACo Conferences, Coalitions often take advantage of the opportunity to meet outside of conference hours to handle key business items. Efficient and cost-effective!
