The 67th Legislative Session is freshly underway, having just convened last Monday, January 4th. The usual hustle and bustle of the Capitol building–often filled with legislators, lobbyists, the public, and guided tours–was unnervingly absent. Some legislators and advocates still haunted the halls, but for the most part, the first week’s chaos migrated primarily to computer screens, cell phones, and emails.

Week 15 of the 66th Legislative Session has officially come to a close, and the Legislature has left the Capitol yesterday afternoon for a much-needed break. The Senate will reconvene on Monday, April 22nd at 5 p.m., and the House will reconvene on Tuesday for their usual 1 p.m. floor session.
